Staff Accountant.

Staff Accountant is responsible for working and supporting closely with Senior Accountant. This position requires a good knowledge of accounting basis. Positive, diligent, and oriented work ethic is critical to this role:
 
Responsibilities:
  • Record and keep track of financial transactions of the business
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Prepare B&O tax, sales tax and payroll tax filings
  • Prepare individual and business tax returns
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Years of experience: 1 or 2 years
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to ethical values
  • The ability to multi-task and follow-through

Accounting Intern

T&M Tax Consulting has an opening to current college students for the 2021 Fall and 2022 Spring Accounting Intern in Lacey, Washington.  We are seeking a passionate and talented Interns.
 
This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to.
  • Record and keep track of financial transactions of businesses
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Assist with general accounting duties for month-end close
  • Research information relating to general accounting
  • Assist with the preparation of tax filings
Requirements of the Accounting Intern
  • Complete of at least one financial accounting course/accounting course
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Excel
