Tammy Tax Consulting & Co. is a tax firm started in Houston, Texas in 2016. In 2019, we expanded our office to Lacey, Washington. Our mission is to help clients achieving their goals in accounting, tax, and other business affairs. We offer the flexibility of individual or business tax consultant. We maintain our competitive edge with specialty in IRS tax audit and tax planning. We provide high quality and professional services and stand behind every tax preparation experience.

Meet Our Team

Tammy Nguyen, MAcc, EA - Founder/President

Tammy earned her master’s degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in December 2015. She holds an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) license which is the highest credential the IRS awards. As a tax professional, she can represent her client’s businesses and individuals – before the IRS on issues of audits, appeals, or tax collection. Tammy specializes in tax planning, consulting, and solves IRS problems. She has over 8 years of experience in dealing with accounting and taxation issues. In addition, Tammy was a former professor in Accounting at South Puget Sound Community College. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking or playing badminton with family and friends.

Mindy Nguyen, CPA - Compliance Manager

Mindy earned her BBA in Accounting and a minor in Finance from University of Houston, Texas in 2017. She has over 5 years of working in Oil & Gas field as a tax analyst and tax consultant. She is well-known as hard-working, dedicated and responsible person that makes her a very strong individual successful woman. She found her passion in taxes and in helping people to achieve their purposes with her strong experience and solid technical skills in tax-related issues. She believes her CPA license will demonstrate a commitment to the profession and providing more quality accounting services to the clients. She also involves and contributes to the community to bring the positive energy to people.

Steven Tran, CPA, CIA - Innovation Manager

Steven Tran graduated from the Islander University with a Master's in Accountancy in 2015. After 4 years of experiences in public accounting, he made transition to business analyst and data analytics services to accounting firms and small businesses. His passion is to streamline business processes and to help business making data-driven decision.

Nicole Burch - Office Administrator

Nicole has worked at several businesses helping customers and employees solve a wide range of issues. Her customer service and management experience helps her quickly identify problems and come up with positive solutions. She is now bringing these skills to our office to apply them for our clients.

Miriam Ojeda - Accounting Associate

Miriam holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Washington Tacoma. She is a proud member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society representing the top 5% of business school programs worldwide. Currently a CPA candidate diligently working towards her CPA Exam, Miriam is known for being hardworking and responsible. She is committed to continuous learning to provide exceptional accounting and tax services to clients. Miriam strives to empower business owners and individuals with strategic solutions that foster their success and aims to build long-term relationships that deliver outstanding results for clients.

Ana Williams - Tax Specialist

Ana is a highly skilled tax professional with extensive experience in IRS, state, and international tax matters. She became an Enrolled Agent (EA) in 2018, earning one of the highest credentials awarded by the IRS, which allows her to represent taxpayers before the agency in all tax matters. With a strong background in tax resolution, she has successfully helped clients navigate complex IRS issues.

Originally from Venezuela, Ana moved to the U.S. in 2012. She earned her law degree and license to practice in Venezuela in 2006 from Universidad Santa Maria and later obtained two master’s degrees in international law and international business law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2009.

On a daily basis, she assists clients with tax planning, tax preparation, and analyzing federal and state tax returns. Committed to continuous professional growth, she is currently working toward her CPA license, having passed three parts of the exam, and aims to complete it by mid-2025. When she’s not working, Ana enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
